In the Ear (ITE) Transistor Hearing Aids

Rexton Model RX-12 In-the-Ear Transistor Hearing Aid

The Rexton Model RX-12 full-shell in-the-ear hearing aid was manufactured by Siemens Hearing Instruments, Inc. for Rexton of Plymouth, MN, a division of Siemens, some time around 1990.

This aid belongs to the Rexton RX series. Notice the red dot (left) on the aid denoting that it is for the right ear.

The Rexton Model RX-12 in-the-ear hearing aid took a No. 13 zinc-air 1.4 volt battery such as the Rayovac 13 battery.
