Beltone Alto (Sub-model A) ITE Hearing Aid
The Beltone Alto (sub-model A) ITE hearing aid was made by the
Beltone Electronics Corporation of Chicago, IL in 1985.
Beltone produced a range of ITE hearing aids named the "Alto" in line
with their long established practice of naming their hearing aids with
music related names.
The sub-model A aids were a more-expensive line than the sub-model B
aids which were a more basic aid.

(top) for the left aid. By convention, the serial number for the left
aid was 1 number greater than the serial number for the right ear.
Together they made a matched pair.

ear showing the same as above except in the reverse order (upside down).
Two things of note. First, the vent hole has a plug in it (top) to make
it smaller to help prevent feedback. Second, this hearing aid doesn't
have a t-coil in it.
