Oticon Model E36 Behind-the-Ear Transistor Hearing Aid

The Oticon Model E36 BTE hearing aid was manufactured by Oticon A/S in Denmark in 1990.

You can see the microphone grill immediately above the ear hook (right).

The Oticon Model E36 had no volume control. The volume was set up at the time of fitting.

The setting controls are: the green screw (top) sets the hearing threshold level (35 to 75 dB); the white screw (middle) sets the maximum gain (power) from 30 to 90 dB; the red screw (bottom) sets the ... from 0 to -20 dB.
