Medresco Model BE11 Behind-the-Ear Hearing Aid
The Medresco Model BE11 behind-the-ear hearing aid was made by the
Oticon plant in Hamilton, Lanarkshire, Scotland for Medresco (MEDical
RESearch COuncil) and the Department of Health & Social Security in
England in 1974.
Medresco hearing aids were distributed free to qualifying people by
the British Health Service. This hearing aid was the first Medresco aid
that did not have a model number beginning with the
letters "OL".
This was likely a 3-transistor hearing aid like its predecessor, the
Model OL67.
