Behind the Ear (BTE) Transistor Hearing Aids

Lloyd Model E Behind-the-Ear (BTE) Hearing Aid

The Lloyd model E behind-the-ear hearing aid was made by Lloyds Hearing Aid of Rockford, IL somewhere around 1970.

This hearing aid had an unusual shape—long and wide, but not very thick. It measured 1⅞" long x ⅜" wide x ⅜" thick at its widest part (4.7 x 1.0 x 0.9 cm).
