Body Type Transistor Hearing Aids

Audium Model T9 Transistor (Body) Hearing Aid

This Audium Model T9 3-transistor hearing aid was made in Holland in 1955.

The Model T9 measured 2⅝" x 1¾" x ¾" and weighed 4½ oz without the battery. It has a chrome front and back with black plastic sides/top/bottom.

The battery compartment of the Model T9. It probably used an RM-1 mercury battery. A rather unusual feature is that the battery compartment door is spring-loaded.

On the right there are 3 adjusting screws of unknown function.
