Conversation Tubes

Hawksley Conversation Tube

This conversation tube is 39 inches long and has a bell opening of 2 inches.

The bell is made of aluminum and is signed "Hawksley & Sons, 351 Oxford Street, London." The tube is an aluminum spiral covered with a mohair-like greenish woven material.

This conversation tube dates from somewhere around 1880.
