Hearing Aid Batteries

Fortiphone No. 3-S Hearing Aid Battery

The Fortiphone No. 3-S was a 4.5-volt hearing aid battery used in carbon hearing aids in the late 1920s and the 1930s.

The Fortiphone No. 3-S carbon-zinc battery weighed 6 oz, and measured 3" high by 2½" wide by ¾" thick.

The label says it was "manufactured by Siemens Brothers & Co. Ltd (London, England)...specially for Fortiphone Limited (London).
