Hearing Aid Batteries

Eveready No. 935 (Size C) Hearing Aid/Flashlight Battery

The Eveready No. 935 C-size battery was made by the National Carbon Company, a division of what is now Union Carbide Corp. of New York, NY probably in the 1960s.

It was a 1˝ volt C-sized battery that was used in some carbon and vacuum tube hearing aids in the 1930s and 1940s.

It weighed 1.1 oz. (34 g), and measured 1 15/16" tall by 1" in diameter.

The guarantee reads, "If your flashlight is damaged by this battery, send flashlight and batteries to National Carbon, Dept. H, Toronto 4, and we will mail to you, free, a new flashlight complete with batteries".

At the bottom it says, "Division of Union Carbide Canada Limited".
