Eveready 266 Radio & Hearing Aid Battery
This
Eveready 9 volt No. 266 battery was made for use in transistor radios
and other electronic instruments, including at least one hearing aid.
Eveready was a brand of the Union Carbide Corp. of New York, NY.
This battery
weighed 6.6 oz., (188 g) and measured 1¾" by 1¾" by 2⅜" high (4.5 x
4.5 x 6.1 cm).

Two Eveready No. 266 batteries can be strapped together in series to
give an output voltage of 18 volts.
This configuration was used in an Ambco Model 951 portable desktop
hearing aid from the mid 1960s.
