Zenith "Premier" Transistor (Body) Hearing Aid
The Zenith "Premier" transistor hearing aid was manufactured by the
Hearing Aid Division of the Zenith Radio Corp. in 1959. It was an 4-transistor aid.
The Zenith "Premier" measured 2⅝" x 1⅞" x 11/16" thick, and
weighed 2¼ oz. with battery. The case was gold-colored anodized
aluminum.
The microphone grill was keystone shaped and located on the front
center. The name "Zenith" (in script) was on the lower front.
(The two little holes above the microphone grill might have been to
hold a Zenith crest in place.)
