Auricles

Super Ear Clip-On Model

This device is also marked "Super Ear Type H". It used a flexible metal wire to attach it to the ear. Ads appearing in the late 1920's stated "Non-Electric, No Battery, No Cords, No Headband Necessary". Their advertising also stated, "Thousands now used by judges, teachers, merchants, etc."

This auricle clipped on the ear and mimicked cupping your hand behind your ear so you could hear better.
