Hearing Aid Batteries

This Novel H-R5 1.3 volt mercury battery was used in assistive devices such as telephone amplifiers in the 1960s and 1970s.

It is equivalent to our "N" size battery today. It weighs about ¼ oz., and is
1 3/16" by 9/16" in diameter.
