Hearing Aid Batteries

This is an English Eveready 45 volt hearing aid "B" battery used in vacuum tube hearing aids in the 1930s and 1940s.

This battery weighed 8 oz., and measured 4" by 2½" by 7/8". It was sometimes paired with the D888 "A" battery.
