Hearing Aid Batteries

Acousticon No. 5 Hearing Aid Battery

The Acousticon No. 5 battery was produced by Dictograph Products, Inc. of New York for use in the Acousticon Hearing aids of the 1910s and 1920s.

 It measured 3 7/8" by 2" by 1" and weighed 6 oz. It was composed of two carbon-zinc cells and delivered 3 volts.
