Hearing Aid Batteries

Rayovac No. R-N Hearing Aid Battery

The Rayovac R-N 1˝ volt carbon-zinc hearing aid battery was made by the Rayovac Division of ESB Incorporated of Madison, WI. probably around 1965 or so.

The Rayovac R-N battery weighed 0.2 oz. (5 g) and measured 1⅜" by 7/16" in diameter (3.0 x 1.1 cm). These batteries were otherwise known as "N" batteries.
